   I am Charles R. Boucher. I am a painter.  

   This is my website.  It is a website about paintings, by a painter, with just a bit about how and why I do what I do.  There is no Flash, no slick digital effects, and certainly no webmaster.  That would be me, and as I said, I am a painter.  I prefer Charcoal, Pigment  and Brushes to make my marks.
   As you click and stroll the the pages of my intentionally low key website, remember the stories.  These pages are about my paintings and the stories they express, with a side trip to my fictional writings, (click on the Turnstiles icon) and those stories.   
   My painting is a reflection of this artist’s stroll through life. Every brushstroke, each color decision, and all form, starts as an individual step along my path through life. Painting is my replacement for voices lost in the cacophony of our generations countless stories simultaneously told.
