Enjoy quality one on one, personalized instruction and constructive criticism in your own home or studio.  I have over 25 years of teaching and mentoring artist at all ability levels, and I can help you bring your own work to another level.  It doesn't matter if you are drawing with pastels, charcoal or pencils, painting with oils or acrylics, I can help you.  We can work on color discipline, composition or creating spacial relationships.  We can work on landscapes, still lifes or the figure.  (I don't do portraits, however)

My philosophy dictates that this is your journey.  I feel there is no better way to discover or enlighten your personal path as an artist than to have a trusted voice (I've had my share) asking the right questions that will help you discover your next step.  I can help you express yourself.

                General Classes

I am currently compiling a list of students for classes that will be offered at the Greater Fall River Art Association in 2011.  My classes will be focused on developing expressive color.  We will not be compelled to complete a painting as much as we will be exploring the science of color and techniques for mixing and choosing color.  Color is the reason for painting, understanding color is one of the most difficult aspects of painting.  It is also the most effective tool for creating your own expressive vision.  Let's explore and express the fine art of color.

April 2 2011 Painting & Drawing Classes by Chuck Boucher
Chuck Boucher is please to offer classes at the GFRAA. Drawing classes will begin on Monday, April 25 (6pm-8:30pm); painting classes will begin on Wednesday, April 27 (6pm - 8:30pm). Chuck has been working & showing his work in the area over 30 years. He will be teaching painting and drawing classes with a focus on color, value, composition & expression. While any level of artist is welcome to join the class, artists at a more experienced level may find these classes particularly helpful. Classes will run 5 weeks for $125.00.
