Turnstiles is released by Somerset,Massachusetts author C.R. Boucher
Should you love a monster just because he happens to be your dad? That is one of the challenges faced by the vividly drawn characters that come to life in the pages of this hometown fantasy. For immediate release Somerset, Massachusetts C.R. Boucher is a Somerset Massachusetts based artist and writer who tells stories taking place in Fall River and the surrounding area. Mr. Boucher is known primarily for his painting exhibits throughout the Southcoast area of Massachusetts and Rhode Island over the past twenty years. Since 1987 when his first story was published, he has explored the inner demons of the Southcoast’s hardworking people and their surroundings. While his stories fall into the Horror or Dark Fantasy fields, his descriptions and characterizations are firmly based in a very real world, with very real fears. “Turnstiles” is a prime example of his explorations of the relationship between love and fear. People who enjoy the novels of Clive Barker or Peter Straub would likely find Mr. Boucher’s work a welcome addition to the genre. C.R. Boucher is a 1978 Graduate of BMC Durfee high school, in Fall River. He served four years in the US Coast Guard before returning to his hometown and graduating from Bristol Community College in 1984. Following in the footsteps of numerous successful artists, Charles graduated from the Swain School of Design in 1986 and began his own artistic career. Currently in addition to his exploits in the creative world, he shares his experiences in art and writing with countless artists and aspiring artists from his traditional job as Customer Service Manager, at Riverside Art in Somerset Massachusetts.
